“Health is multifaceted and nuanced to the point that the strides you want to make in the healthcare field cannot be made by people that are similar to one another. Because the problems in health are diverse, it doesn't make sense (for) one group of people in which general health has been structured to support or reflect dictate or find solutions in the health field. The problems are diverse, and the problems are hard. You need to have people who are diverse.” –Esther Egbulonu, sociology and public health senior. "My family was ethnically cleansed in 1948. The reason I have such a strong connection is because of Palestinian organizers in my undergrad when I was a college student.  They helped me connect more to my Palestinian heritage and if it wasn’t for Palestinian activists and organizers I probably wouldn’t be here today. As youth we play an important role on social media, but we need people out on the streets more,"–Nashwa Abdelwahed, member of the Palestinian Youth Movement.  Shot for The Dallas Morning News.
